The hospitals in which members of The
Cardiovascular Care Group currently practice are:
The
Group maintains an active Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory
directed by Virginia Vyniski, RVTPast-President of the North Jersey Society of
Vascular Technology. The laboratory was
established in 1967 by Dr. Sabety and currently performs in excess of 3000 noninvasive
vascular examinations annually. The
Laboratory has been fully accredited, since 1993, by the Intersocietal Commission for the
Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL).
The
Group provides services related to the functioning of the arterial, venous and respiratory
systems. These include problems with circulation (arteries and veins), aneurysms, stroke prevention and varicose or spider veins. The
physicians are actively involved in several wound care centers
that provide care for the treatment of nonhealing wounds. Additionally, the establishment of various access
alternatives for patients with kidney (renal) failure (shunts, fistulas, and catheters) is
a focus of The Group. The Group also performs
the placement of long-term in-dwelling catheters for antibiotics,
chemotherapy or intravenous (parenteral) feedings.
Surgery
for cancer of the lung or esophagus constitutes a major portion of the practice. The use of minimally invasive procedures (VATS)
for the diagnosis and treatment of lung problems is a central part of this treatment.
Since its inception, The Group has maintained the highest standards of care for its
patients. Board certification of all
physicians has been a requirement, as has mandatory continuing medical education.
Physician availability is guaranteed and one can rest assured that an environment of
caring and comfort will be provided.
